I get alot of dye drops in any area i play on my mesmer. She rarely gets rares/materials but always seems to get dye. My best yet was 5 whites and 3 black dyes in one day. Working on bonus' in tyria around maguuma, ascalon and kryta i think.

I also seem to get alot more black and white dyes than i do red, red are the rarest dye in my case.

gotten over 15 from the Hardmode Margonite farm.

I'm sad it was nerfed it dropped blacks like crazy.

While clearing FoW I got 2 black dye drops in the same run, though I forgot what dropped them.

i sold a bunch at 27k just before the trader price reset but recently i have gotten them in NM low level.

2 new presear each got blacks from scale tads {looking for fins for beltpouch}

first at..........YOU HAVE BEEN PLAYING THIS CHARACTER FOR 19 MINUTES

yesterday.....YOU HAVE BEEN PLAYING THIS CHARACTER FOR 14 MINUTES

WHO HAS GOTTEN A BLACK IN 10 MINUTES OR LESS?

not time played in an area but brand new fresh characters with only 14 and 19 minutes total play time respectively

as in *you have been playing this character a total of 14/19 minutes*

i honestly get a crap load of them. i've bought maybe 6 ever, and i have well over 50+ armors all dyed black (i know, im so original... no.. i just really like black).
